About me

My name is Patrycja Stefaniak and I graduated from the University of Silesia from the Department of German. I did postgraduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language in the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia.

For over eight years I have been working as a teacher of German both in educational institutions and in private companies. I teach young people and adults in individual and group classes. For a few years I have had the pleasure of teaching the Polish language to foreigners staying in Poland; usually these were managers of big foreign companies who worked and lived in Poland and wanted to get to know the language of their employers or partners.

Sound academic background, many years of teaching practice, constantly widening my qualifications at numerous trainings and TELC examiner licence let me develop efficient teaching methods at different teaching levels.

I highly recommend classes with me. I emphasize student individuality, I always try to adjust the syllabus to the needs and skills of the learner; therefore, classes run by me are interesting and easily remembered by students. I am an open-minded person, which also helps me make quick contacts with people whom I teach in an effective way.

My motto in life is "Follow your dreams". I think that knowing a foreign language is every persons dream. I would like to help you make your dream come true
